Местность — 1) в ландшафтоведении таксон природного территориального комплекса, занимающий промежуточное положение в звене урочище — ландшафт и соответствующий группе территориально-смежных урочищ в пределах одной локальной тектонической структуры с генетически единым сочетанием почвообразующих пород;

2) к.-л. определенное место, пространство, участок земной поверхности.
