Контроль экологический производственный — непосредственная деятельность предприятий, организаций, учреждений по управлению воздействием на окружающую среду на основе описания, наблюдения, оценки и прогноза источников воздействия и отходов.

Такой контроль представляет собой основной вид деятельности экологической службы предприятия, регламентируемой самим предприятием в форме Положения о производственном экологическом контроле.
