Классификация ландшафтов типологическая

Классификация ландшафтов типологическая — объединение ландшафтов по признакам качественного сходства.

Высшую таксономическую ступень К.л.т. — тип ландшафта — выделяют по сходству в соотношениях тепло- и влагообеспеченности; номенклатура типов ландшафтов складывается соответственно из двух элементов: теплообеспеченности (арктические и антарктические, субарктические, бореальные, суббореальные, субтропические и т.д.) и увлажнения (от гумидных до экстрааридных).

Классы и подклассы ландшафтов выделяют по гипсометрическому фактору (равнинные и горные). Вид ландшафта выделяется по характеристикам фундамента ландшафта: его петрографическому составу, структурным особенностям и формам рельефа (напр., холмисто-моренные на цоколе из карбонатных палеозойских пород).
