Аридный климат — сухой климат областей с малым количеством атмосферных осадков и высокими температурами воздуха, испытывающими большие суточные колебания.

В условиях А.к. преобладают ландшафты пустынь и полупустынь, широко распространены эоловые формы рельефа.
