Инфауна — совокупность видов водных животных, обитающих в донных отложениях морей, рек, озёр и прудов; составная часть бентоса.

По приуроченности к типам грунтов выделяются пелофилы (в иле), псаммофилы (в песке), литофилы (в камнях), аргиллофилы (в глине).
