Изменение среды обратимое — перемена в средообразующих компонентах или их сочетаниях, имеющая колебательный характер с восстановлением прежних условий жизни (например, смена сезонов или сукцессии).

Строго говоря, полной обратимости быть не может, так как на колебательные процессы накладывается ход эволюционного развития — необратимый процесс.
