Засоление почв — превышение (свыше 0,25 %) содержания в почве легкорастворимых солей (карбоната натрия, хлоридов и сульфатов), обусловленное или засоленностью почвообразующих пород, или чаще неправильным орошением, приносом солей грунтовыми или поверхностными водами.
