Аллопатричность

Аллопатричность — 1) способ формообразования в процессе эволюции, при котором новые формы организмов ведут начало от родственных групп с неперекрывающимися (изолированными) ареалами. Например, на разных островах галапагосского архипелага возникли различные виды вьюрков, на что обратил внимание ещё Ч. Дарвин;

2) пространственная взаимозаменяемость — смена близких форм живого, занимающих сходные экологические ниши.
