Магнитосфера Земли переходит в спокойное состояние

В минувший понедельник, продолжая свой путь по орбите, Земля вышла из потока быстрого и плотного солнечного ветра, что постепенно вернуло геомагнитное поле в спокойное состояние.

До выхода на линию Солнце — Земля очередной корональной дыры есть ещё несколько дней, и, учитывая невысокую вспышечную активность на Солнце, а последняя вспышка даже среднего уровня класса М наблюдалась там более трёх суток назад, можно с уверенностью говорить, что сегодня, а также в ближайшие трое суток нас ждёт довольно спокойный период, с колебаниями геомагнитного поля в диапазоне от спокойного до неустойчивого. С чем согласны и мировые прогностические центры, окрасившие свои прогностические графики в зелёные цвета.
