Галофил — организм, приспособившийся к жизни в местообитаниях с повышенным содержанием солей (солелюб).

Например, личинки некоторых пустынных жуков-чернотелок, галофильные микроорганизмы, вырабатывающие красный пигмент и вызывающие покраснение солёной рыбы.
