На Куршской косе погибли сотни птиц

В Калининградской области у посёлка Рыбачий на прибрежной полосе длиной 2 км были обнаружены останки нескольких сотен певчих дроздов. В нацпарке «Куршская коса» считают, что массовая гибель птиц была вызвана неблагоприятными погодными условиями.

Дело в том, что 27 апреля над Балтийским морем происходила массовая ночная миграция дроздов. В тот день стоял сильный туман, из-за которого многие птицы могли потерять ориентацию и погибнуть. А шторм 2 мая выбросил останки дроздов на берег косы.

По мнению специалистов нацпарка, миграция над морем часто приводит к гибели перелётных птиц. В 2013 году на берег косы по тем же причинам выбросило множество дроздов и зябликов.
