Водораздел — линия, разделяющая бассейны водосборные (водосборы) смежных рек, водоёмов или скоплений подземных вод.

Различают: главный В. — между соседними речными системами; боковой В. — между смежными притоками основной реки, а также поверхностный и подземный В.
