Вирусы

Вирусы — мельчайшие неклеточные частицы — вироспоры, представляющие собой наборы нуклеиновых кислот (ДНК или РНК), заключённые в белковую оболочку.

Размер В. от 20 до 3 000 нм и более. Размножаются только в клетках растений или животных, часто вызывая опасные заболевания (оспа, ящур, грипп, паротит, полиомиелит и т.д.) животных и человека, а также бактерий.
