В Чукотском АО начался паводок

На Чукотке начался паводок. 23 мая вскрылась ото льда река Майн в районе села Ваеги. 24 мая начался поверхностный сток на ручье Мухтуя в районе с. Островное. Значительного повышения уровней воды не происходит из-за прохладной пасмурной погоды, сдерживающей таяние снега.

На остальных реках Чукотки наблюдается ледостав, увеличиваются размеры полыней, проявляется вода на льду, образуются закраины. Вскрытие ото льда большинства рек ожидается в период с 25 мая по 1 июня.

Прохождение наивысших уровней половодья возможно после 29 мая.
