Биоэнергетика — 1) научная дисциплина, исследующая энергетические процессы в клетках, тканях, особях, экосистемах и т.д.;

2) сами эти процессы;

3) способы промышленного получения энергии из биомассы специально выращиваемых водорослей, быстрорастущих деревьев, навоза и других отходов животноводства (например, биогаза) и т.д.
