Ярус

Ярус — 1) часть слоя в сообществе растений, к которой приурочены функционально отличные их органы (надземные — листья, стебли; подземные — корни, корневища, клубни и луковицы);

2) толща, образованная надземной частью растительной экобиоморфы (деревьями, кустарниками, травами т.д.) и сопряженными с нею консументами и редуцентами: первый ярус древостоя, или древесный ярус, второй ярус древостоя, ярус подлеска и т.д.
