Эрозия почвы

Эрозия почвы — процесс механического разрушения почвы под действием поверхностного стока (водная эрозия) или ветра (ветровая эрозия, или дефляция).

По мнению Ж. Дорста (1968), ускоренная Э.п. представляет собой сейчас самое серьёзное и самое тяжёлое последствие вторжения человека в природу. В составе с.-х. почв России более 116 млн.га занимают эрозионно опасные и подверженные водной и ветровой эрозии земли, в т.ч. эродированные — 53,6 млн.га.
