Эколого-экономический ущерб окружающей природной среде

Эколого-экономический ущерб окружающей природной среде — фактические экологические, экономические или социальные потери, возникшие в результате нарушения природоохранного законодательства, хозяйственной деятельности человека, стихийных экологических бедствий, катастроф.

Ущерб проявляется в виде потерь природных, трудовых, материальных, финансовых ресурсов в народном хозяйстве, а также ухудшения социально-гигиенических условий проживания для населения и качественных изменений (потерь) экономического потенциала страны.
