Цикл пополнения и сработки водохранилища

Цикл пополнения и сработки водохранилища — повторяющийся в ходе эксплуатации водохранилища интервал времени, в течение которого происходит пополнение полезного объёма водохранилища и последующая или частичная его сработка.

В соответствии с продолжительностью этого периода времени различают суточное, недельное, годовое и многолетнее регулирование стока.
