Условия обитания — 1. Совокупность живых организмов, предметов и явлений природы, существующих помимо деятельности людей (хотя в ряде случаев преобразованных ими), влияющих на другие живые организмы, предметы и явления, рассматриваемые как центральные в изучаемой системе отношений. 

2. Тела и силы природы, существенные на данном уровне развития производительных сил для жизни и хозяйственной деятельности общества, но непосредственно не участвующие в материальной производственной и непроизводственной сферах деятельности людей.
