Стратегия (жизни) популяций — совокупность приспособлений, способов выживания и поддержания стабильности популяций растений и животных в экосистемах.

По одной из классификаций С.ж.п. растений, предложенной Л. Г. Раменским (1938), различают виоленты, патиенты и эксплеренты.
