Стандарт

Стандарт — в широком смысле слова, образец, эталон, модель, принимаемые за исходные для сопоставления с ними др. подобных объектов.

Обычно под С. понимают нормативно-технический документ. С. подразделяются на государственные (ГОСТ), отраслевые (ОСТ), республиканские (РСТ) и С. предприятий (СТП). В последнее время Международной организацией по стандартизации (ИСО или ISO) активно разрабатываются международные С. (СТ ИСО); ранее были разработаны С. Совета Экономической Взаимопомощи (СТ СЭВ).
