Симбиоз

Симбиоз — тип взаимоотношений организмов разных систематических групп: совместное существование, взаимовыгодное, нередко обязательное сожительство особей двух или более видов, например рака-отшельника и актинии, водорослей, гриба и микроорганизмов в составе тела лишайника.

Симбиоз распространён очень широко. Например, в кишечнике всех млекопитающих, включая человека, имеется кишечная флора, способствующая перевариванию пищи, индивиды — участники симбиоза, называются симбионтами.
