Разность высот оледенения

Разность высот оледенения — разность высотных отметок между наивысшей точкой ледника, снеговой линией и концом ледника.

Разность в отметках наивысшей точки ледника и снеговой линии является положительной разностью оледенения, разность отметок снеговой линии и конца ледника является отрицательной разностью оледенения.
