Промысел живых ресурсов — комплексный процесс, включающий поиск и вылов (добычу) водных биологических ресурсов, приёмку, обработку, транспортирование, хранение продукции, её перегрузку, а также снабжение промысловых судов и установок топливом, водой, продовольствием, тарой и другими материалами.
