Плёнка жизни

Плёнка жизни — термин, употреблявшийся В. И. Вернадским и вошедший в научный обиход для обозначения скопления живого вещества, организмов на контакте поверхности литосферы, приземного слоя атмосферы и мелководий и верхних слоев гидросферы.

Синонимы: имеется много попыток заменить двусловный термин «плёнка жизни» одним словом — биогеосфера, биофильм и др., однако общепринятой замены для «плёнки жизни» пока нет.
