Парк национальный

Парк национальный — обширная территория, включающая особо охраняемые природные ландшафты, не подвергшиеся существенному воздействию со стороны человека.

Помимо главной задачи сохранения природы в относительной неприкосновенности, преимущественно предназначен для рекреационных целей. В нашей стране территория и учреждение официально называется природным национальным парком (в отличие от пока не созданных природно-исторических (памятных) национальных парков, называемых музеями-заповедниками).
