Охрана природы

Охрана природы — 1) совокупность международных, государственных и региональных административно-хозяйственных, технологических, политических и общественных мероприятий, направленных на сохранение, рациональное использование и воспроизводство природных систем и ресурсов земли, а также ближайшего к ней космического пространства в интересах существующих и будущих поколений людей;

2) комплексная дисциплина, разрабатывающая общие принципы и методы сохранения и восстановления природных ресурсов. Включает разделы: охрана земель, вод, атмосферы, растительного и животного мира, экосистем в целом и др.
