Китай отправил ДНК редких животных в космос

Генные материалы китайского тигра, обезьян рокселланов ринопитек и других редких животных были отправлены на околоземную орбиту при запуске с космодрома «Тайюань» провинции Шаньси. Об этом сообщает «Жэньминь жибао».

Контейнер с ДНК редких животных и растений стал одним из элементов полезной нагрузки ракеты-носителя «Чанчжэн-11». Условия низкой температуры и космического вакуума помогут сохранить генный материал в течение долгих лет.
